222 SE - 1990 to 1991
Less than two years after the launch of the 222, the sportier SE version was introduced, following in the footsteps of the Biturbo S. It carried on with the same aesthetical theme as the latter, thus with blacked out front grille, headlights and window surrounds, wing mirrors and door sill panels. Colours available were again red, black and silver. Specific bumpers made the car slightly longer.
Inside, the same level of refinement and features as on the 222 E made this coupé not only a sporty model but also a very prestigious one.
The production figures list 210 units built, combined between 222 SE and 222 SR.
