4.24v. II (cat.)

4.24v. II (cat.) - 1991 to 1993

In 1991 the entire Biturbo range was subject to a restyling, which brought new headlights, bumpers, rearview mirrors and a thinner grille, all under the supervision of the famous designer Marcello Gandini. Launched only a few months earlier, the 4.24v. was already sold with the new seven-spoke alloys and rear spoiler, but was now further improved by these latest modifications.

Simultaneously, the catalytic exhaust system was adopted to meet new homologation requirements, with a subsequent increase in weight and slight decrease in power. However, performances remained very much in line with the first series model. This second version was produced in 490 units until 1993, bringing total production of the 4.24v. to 874.
